Karsten Braune has been working as a freelance wood designer since 1990.
After graduating from the Schneeberg University of Applied Arts in the Ore Mountains, he dedicated himself to a wide variety of design projects for industry and crafts.
However, the development of figurines and toys emerged as his main focus.
Among other things, he has been continuously creating new figurine groups on the theme of spherical smoke figures for almost 25 years in collaboration with Seiffener Volkskunst eG.
